NDEAM and the Rehab Act

Every October we recognize and celebrate the skills and talents of people with disabilities to work in the community through National Disability Employment Awareness Month (NDEAM). This year the theme is “Advancing Access and Equity”. We are also marking the 50th anniversary of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (Rehab Act). This was a monumental victory for people with disabilities. In honoring the continued progress, new updates to the Rehab Act have been put out for public comment. See the resources below to understand then, now, and next of the Rehab Act:
